I’m a husband, a father of two, and someone who’s always been curious about how the world works.

One of my earliest formative experiences was earning my Eagle Scout award as a teenager, which instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility, perseverance, and service. Later, I spent two years serving a church mission in Germany—an experience that broadened my perspective, strengthened my work ethic, and taught me how to connect with people from very different backgrounds.

Professionally, my path has been anything but linear. I’ve worked in sales, where I learned how to communicate clearly and build trust, then moved into construction, and eventually into trucking, which I’ve been doing for the past several years. Along the way, I discovered that I learn best by doing. While I gave college an honest attempt, I found that real-world work and hands-on learning suited me better—and I’ve continued to educate myself ever since.

I have a deep interest in technology, science, physics, and math, especially when those subjects intersect with practical, real-life applications. I enjoy learning for the sake of understanding, not just credentials.

Outside of work, I’m an avid camper (or at least an aspiring one). I love being outdoors and probably own more camping gear than I get chances to use—but that just means I’m always ready for the next opportunity. I also enjoy movies, television, and video games, and I’ve developed a strong appreciation for games as a unique and creative form of entertainment. Music has always been part of my life as well; I’ve played piano, dabbled in guitar, marched in a high school drumline, and still find myself tapping rhythms to whatever I’m listening to.
